The Beginning

The beginning of all things is recorded in Genesis. In Genesis 1: 1-2 we read “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. “
“In the beginning…” What a wonderful statement! Have You ever begun something? Maybe it was a trip to visit some one far away. Maybe You started to draw something. Maybe You were simply beginning a new day!
Well, “In the beginning …” God began creation. That means He began creating! The first thing that God created in the beginning was the heavens and the earth. Have You ever thought about the heavens and the earth, or God for that matter?
Why don’t we talk about God for a moment? God is a triune person. That means He reveals Himself in three persons or personalities. God reveals Himself in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit!
In Acts 17:24 we read “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of Heaven and Earth, dwells not in temples made with hands;” Here the Bible is referring to God the Father in the beginning of creation.
We can see God the Father and God the Son in the beginning when we look at John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him: and without Him was not anything made that was made.”
Here in John 1:1-3, the word used to describe God the Son is “Word”. It is interesting to note that God the Son is called the Word for indeed, most of creation was done by the spoken word of God. Also, we see God the Father here simply referred to as “God”.
Next, we can see God the Holy Spirit in Genesis 1:2. In the latter part of Genesis 1:2, we read “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters”. The idea here is that the Spirit of God was hovering or vibrating over the face of the waters.
“In the beginning God…” What a beautiful thought. God has been from the beginning of all time. And more important, before time began as we know it God was there. And when time has ended as we now know it, God will be there!
The PURPOSE of this site is two-fold:
1. To Evangelize the World for the advancement of The Kingdom of God.
2. To Equip the Saints, for The Work of The Ministry, for the edifying of the body of God The Son Y’ehoshua (Jesus) Christ to the glory of God The Father through fellowship of God The Holy Spirit!
