Baptism

Physical-“An outward expression of an inward experience”

John 3:23 Now John also was baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because there was plenty of water, and people were constantly coming to be baptized.

Acts 8:38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.

Spiritual-“An inward experience expressed outwardly”

Colossians 2:12 having been buried with Him in baptism and raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.
Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Baptism (Greek = baptizo) means DIP, IMMERSE, or PLUNGE.

Mat 28:19 Y’ehoshua (Jesus) speaking “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit ”

Romans 6:3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Y’ehoshua (Jesus) were baptized into His death?

Galatians 3:27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:12-13 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body–whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free–and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

Acts 22:16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on His name.

1 Peter 3:21 ..and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also–not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Y’ehoshhua (Jesus) Christ.

John 3:5 Y’ehoshua (Jesus) answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.

Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized”…

Acts 2:41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Y’ehoshua (Jesus) Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Acts 18:8 Crispus, the synagogue ruler, and his entire household believed in the Lord; and many of the Corinthians who heard him believed and were baptized.

Acts 19:4-5 Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Y’ehoshua (Jesus).” On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Y’ehoshua (Jesus).
